Twelve Days. That's how long it took me to respond to this really wonderful gesture from DeAnne. I'm embarrassed that it took me so long, but I did want to acknowledge her thoughtfulness and send her a note of thanks. I'm really thrilled that she passed me this wonderful Karma Award!
The Karma Award: These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.
I'm now going to share a story with you. Back in the 1990's, I was blessed to work with a really, really fabulous manager. While I worked with him, we developed a deep and binding friendship and now that I'm working elsewhere and he's retired, we're still close. Last week, we went to lunch and he was filling me in on his life. He proceeded to tell me that he was on the board at his church and volunteering them several days per week. He mentioned that when he started volunteering, he felt like it was his obligation... now, he really feels like it's a privilege. His words stuck with me.
I would like to pass this award onto the greatest design team in the Solar System (there are more than 8... but hey, some of them may take a minimum of 12 days to pass it along!) These ladies have made developing our community my PRIVILEGE. I feel blessed every day that they are in my life and they touch me in ways I couldn't begin to convey.
All of these ladies have been so kind and encouraging to me! Thank you all!
Now it's your turn -- tell the people in your life who make you feel lucky that you know them that you appreciate them!
Awww...how sweet Susanna. Believe me, the priviledge is ours. You bring such enthusiasm and creativity to my life that a day without Susanna is like a day without chocolate. That says a lot.
Ginormous hugs,

This seriously is touching SB. You know how I feel about you. Ever since I sent you that dumb email asking you if you really went around stamping while barefooted, I knew you were special. You didn't know it at that the time, but that was when I knew we would be friends. Silly, huh? Love Ya!
