This week, I'm playing along with the Paper Craft Planet Sketch Challenge sponsored by Whimsie Doodles.
Sorry that the picture is "noisy" -- I took it late at night. I created this card using one of Whimsie Doodles digital sets “Paws I Care”. Every
penny of profit from this set goes to support the SPCA. Wendy had paper pieced her sample, so I decided to try that too. I printed the image 3 times and cut each layer out so that I could stack them with dimensionals. The paw prints are a dingbat font called Animal Tracks, that I cut with my Silhouette.
To play along, simply create a card using our sketch! WAIT — there is more — you must also use an animal image on your card. (You can use any animal from any company.) Upload it to the PCP gallery using the tag sk032010.

That card is WAY stinkin' cute!! I can't believe those hand-cut paw prints, so creative!!

Thank you so much for your sweet comments!!!! Just so you know, I did NOT hand cut those paw prints! I'm not anywhere near that capable with a craft knife *grin*. I used my Silhouette. The machine will cut any font, so I found a dingbat (or picture font) for free on www.dafont.com that was called Animal Tracks. I used the paw print from that font to have the die cutter make the background.

Great card...and I agree, the cut-out paw prints add a fabulous whimsy to the card. Don't you love the disgusted look on Obi's face in your last photo? Kitties convey their feelings unmistakably!

Yes, he was definitely "disgusted". He hates to be an "object" but he's pretty, so I put him pictures a lot.
